    Colt Government 380

I have a Colt Government mdl 380 from 1992. Its a 380ACP pistol and was curious what it might be worth. Its in immaculate condition all blued both slide & frame. I have ai think 3 or 4 mags for it as well. I even still have the Colt plastic case with manual.

Is it a Mustang? Pocket Lite? More info needed.

What does the label on the box say, if you can't do pictures.

The MK IV Government ones are worth $400-$600

Let me know if you ever want to trade it in. I'm a Colt dealer and inventory is slim these days.
I have tons of other stuff, just not enough Colt stuff.

Great little gun. I have one in electro-nickle It has a better trigger than some of my expensive custom 1911s.

I carried mine for quite a few years. They go VERY fast on GunBroker at $500 - $650 if they are clean.

I'd say you have a real "keeper" there.

Agreed. $600 +/- a bit seems just right. I have 2 of the Colt Mustang Plus II's and love them. Great guns. You have a keeper!

I will have to pull the box as the pistol lives in the safe without it. Its not a Pocket Lite as I have another one that states that right on the slide.

The slide on this one says :

    Colt MKIV /Series' 80
    Government Model - 380 AUTO

I will have to pull it out of the safe for photos. According to the Colt serial number search its manufacture date was 1992

Well I have 2 of these 380 auto's. One is a Pocketlite and the other doesn't say Pockerlite or Mustang on it anywhere.

I do like them both but have been thinking about parting with this one and keeping the Pocketlite.

I do like shooting them but neither have been shoot since ammo prices went high. Probably 200-300 down the barrel on this one.

This one is pretty darn clean except I seem to remember some very small minor nicks above the trigger hole but below the slide. Not "idiot" scratches....grin....

Might consider parting with it. You are in Hastings? One of my older friends moved out there a couple years ago when his wife retired. Last name Gilbert. He is a big gun fan.
