Howell Gun Club, Steel Challenge matches starting 27DEC2020

Hi Folks,

I'm starting up Steel Challenge matches for the winter in South Eastern Michigan at Howell Gun Club

We have 5 action bays, each one has an enclosed shelter and propane heaters.

First Match will be 27th Dec. 2020, registration is 12pm, first shots at 1pm.

I'll run the matches every 2nd and 4th Sunday now through March. If interest stays high we will continue matches throughout the warmer months.

I found video's on youtube and there was an episode of Shooting Sports on the Outdoors channel that featured the steel challenge matches recently. Chris linked to the steel challenge website in post 1 - that has the break down of stages and guns allowed. From what I have read so far, rimfire and centerfire pistols / rifles are allowed, with classes split between open / iron sights and optics.
