I'd say hang on to the ammo you have, might get more valuable in the next year.
Good point. I will probably wait for nicer weather (and a raise in value) to make the trip. I suppose mine could be shipped but nickel and dime costs plus the trouble spent to pack and ship make it not worth the trouble.
the prices for today's auction are out of this world again.
What's the infatuation with .38spec and .357 mag? They are all going for over $1 per round.
They have weekly auctions...most of the ammo in their REGULAR auctions...not specifically saved for Firearms auction.
For the past 2 years I have seen people paying $30-$35 for a Brick of Thunderbolts on there...plus Buyers BP and Sales Tax...
I would laugh because I have a small shop where I sold the same Bricks for $17.99 + tax...
I'm sitting back wondering...why are people paying so much for those? Must just like to win auctions...Haha.
I have a small Guns and Ammo shop...
9mm and 556/223 has been in such high demand that 90%+ of ammo makers seem to be concentrating on that alone!
Seems like when I get allotments of ammunition...9mm and 556 are the most readily available. Now everything else seems impossible to get.
I don't get 9mm or 556 in high quantities either, but at least I get something.
