Hoping it will languish there until the Emergency is over, and then they would not need to push or pass any "pro-gun" legislation?

That's what I wondered. You'd have to be a Vet is how I read it. Still not for average Joe.
Never, under any circumstances, consume a sleeping pill and laxative on the same night.

There is no language in the proposed statute amendment regarding veterans.

The substantive added language can be found on
    page 19, lines 28 & 29
    page 20, lines 1-13
    page 29, lines 22-29
    page 30, lines 1-12

There are many reasons that a Governor might declare a state of emergency, many of which might involve homeland security and/or the military.

Other than they struck out items pertaining to military...

    Page 28 - Line 8 through Page 29 - Line 3

    Possibly why it went there?

That was "housekeeping" since "Until November 30, 2018" is in the past. If that were the basis for sending it to this committee, the appropriate time would have been when that "deadline" language was in a previous bill.

It probably went there because the Chair is pro gun. It will still have a ways to go to make it to the floor for a vote.

You know a constitutional carry law would be better and do away with this nonsense. Just saying.
No man made law physically prevents one from doing anything they have a mind to.

All we have to do is work hard, build the majority for Republicans in the legislature and get a Republican governor so we can make the big changes.

Please remember that past performance is not indicative of future returns.

Brought to you by the election firm of Snyder, Jones and Meekhof.

    Sponsored in part by MCRGO.
