    AR buttstock question

    Hi -

    quick question. Can anyone tell me what exactly this slot is for? Doesn't seem quite wide enough for mlock. I could put a sling through it, wrap it around the top of the tube, but then it wants to slide off the back if it's just a little loose. So... what gives?



    considering opening it up to accept an mlock qd cup.
