Greetings all!
I found this forum in a Web search (DuckDuckGo.com - I no longer use Google) for gun rights organizations in Michigan.
My dad (and his dad before him) has been a firearms enthusiast and collector for many decades, but I've only been shooting for about 14 years. Since I quickly realized I really know very little other than being able to (usually) ring plates or put holes on paper from a shooting bench at short range, I've occasionally read books and articles by Massad Ayoob and Patrick Sweeney, and enjoy watching informative and largely non-political media channels like Forgotten Weapons, InRange TV, and Paul Harrell. This past year I finally joined a local gun club so my family have a safe and reliable place for target practice.
Hoping to find here some relief from the highly polarized talk I've gotten so weary of hearing from friends, relatives, and strangers alike, learn cool factoids, and even maybe gain some perspective on how and why our society has become so intent on going completely off the deep end.
