Long over due. Can we as individuals do anything to help get this passed?????

Reach out to your representative and ask them to support this bill and why.
Not all carried knives are "weapons", rather, they are simply EDC tools.
Michigan made spring assisted knives legal (ref: PA 96 of 2017), but many municipalities still have ordinances prohibiting spring assisted knives or even non-spring assisted folding knives over a certain length.
Usage of a knife as a weapon may be illegal assault, or may be self defense. There are already laws on the books to determine if the use of a knife is illegal.
Please add "storage" to page 2, line 8, 9 or 10!
