I have tried several brands, but Chip McCormick mags are the only ones that work in every 1911 I own.

    Chip McCormick

The last Wilson Combat mag I bought for my Kimber would not lock the slide.

Wilson 47d, Chip, Metform are some of the ones I use for my 1911's.

I have Chip McCormick mags but had to remove a mag well bevel that was installed in a .45 I had built to get the extended McCormick mags to lock in.

I’ve Kimber, Springfield, McCormick and Wilson mags and all work within their respective 1911s. (I’ve 45 and 9mm pistols)

Wilson 47D have a flaw regarding debris clearance, that plastic follower keeps crud in.
Years ago shooting either IDPA or IPSC I was using them and had FTF issues.
This was at LGC so you guys that have been there no it is all sand/gravel.
Kimber PRO CDP [Series 70 type]which was a proven gun was not the problem, it ate everything.
Range had a typical dirt floor and some sand/dirt had got into them during a previous stage during a non-retention mag change.
Switched to some Chip McCormick and Shooting Star 8rd mags and found they would not retain crud like the 47D.
They have a sheet metal follower.
47D work great clean but if you ever unknowingly get sand in them.... detail strip them before continuing.

All you 47D friends please break out the mag brushes just to be sure.

I love both the Wilson 47D and the ETM. I use the ETMs more than anything these days, though I trust the 47D just as much.

For 10rd mags I like Tripp
