The one you build yourself will likely be the lightest. Slabside upper, pencil profile 16" barrel. No rail, lightweight bolt carrier. I have an upper with a pencil profile barrel that is really light. Nothing special. I've been considering selling it for cheap when I get around to it. Have too many uppers.

The OP is a bit vague but I much prefer pencil barrels to a standard government profile.

Brass stuck in chamber, faulty bcg, trigger that binds up. Not sure what Ruger is up to, but I’m not impressed with their ARs. I did lend a spare bcg to the one guy and it got him through the day.
