Has anyone had any experience with these plastic lowers? Specifically, but not limited to, KE Arms.

I had a few of a different brand years ago but sold them. They held up ok, but I really did not use them much. I think they are alright as long as the receiver extension tube portion of the receiver is reinforced.
I've been shooting a Cavalry Arms lower for years. Now made by GWACS Armory. It is a complete one piece lower that includes the stock and pistol grip molded in. Makes it very strong.
No man made law physically prevents one from doing anything they have a mind to.
have a few ATI hybrid lowers. built a few "lightweight" platforms in 22lr and 5.56. no issues. but then again, i dont morter them, and
feel like i have to throw it around.
I have a New Frontier in my M4. No issues and super light
I have an older Omni polymer lower (had it for quite a few years now), started it out as a .223/5.56 build (probably 5000 rounds shot in that configuration), then as a 300 blackout (probably 7-8,000 rounds in that configuration), then finally as a dedicated .22 LR AR (blowback) with who knows how many rounds in that configuration (many many thousands).
I really like it for what it is, it is my tightest fitting lower to upper fitting lower as well as the tightest fitting trigger and hammer pins of any of my AR lowers (absolutely no play or wobble)
It has done everything that I have asked of it. But probably it's best home is on my dedicated .22LR AR trainer.
I probably wouldn't want to use it as a duty gun or as a war gun (might be OK but no way to know if it would handle the abuse) but for normal range usage and as a trainer it seems to work just fine.
For what I originally paid I wish I had bought more of them. I could strip it down then no way could a metal detector easily find it hidden in my yard or hidden in my house plus if buried it could accept some ground moisture and acidic moisture without damage.
I picked up a CHEAP (it was under $50) brand new AR-15 plastic COMPLETE "Plumb Crazy" lower receiver a couple years ago and grabbed a cheap complete upper. I was amazed at how well everything fit together. Even the plastic receiver push pins fit perfect and were very durable. I also jumped on a Franklin Binary to try in the plastic lower even though Franklin did not recommend it due to imperfections that may be in plastic receivers. I was pleasantly pleased to discover how accurate the plastic Plumb Crazy was in it's Fire Control Group demensions, Mil-Spec in everyway as far as I could tell. The binary worked mounted up perfectly with no alterations in the molding needed by myself and it functioned flawlessly in it. I had several different 556 mags for it too, including a 100 round dual drum (Korean made,, it was plastic too - worked great) and they all functioned perfectly in the Plastic receiver mag well. I also ran a CMMG 22lr conversion kit with three 25 round CMMG mags that also worked perfectly in the Crazy. While I cannot promise you that all Plumb Crazy lowers are worthy,, mine sure was. As you can probably read into my Plumb Crazy story, I am a frugal geezer and can add here that had this stupid ammo crunch not happened so instead of 17 pennies for every BANG of fun, we went to 75 cents for every bang (less bang for my buck LOL) I would have never sold that fun little shooter and I am 100% positive it would still be fully functional to this very day. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, hope it helps. Puc

Whats the weight savings and cost savings compared to something like spikes, or aero ?
Makes for a very light weapon I have 2 AR -fifteens that have the polymer lower and they have held up quite well over the years
