    Dunham's - Allen PArk

Out running errands, thought I'd stop in Dunham's and see if I could grab a box or two of 12 gauge shot, and whatever else might be in stock. Thinking about a crossbow as well.

They had a couple boxes of Remington 300 SAUM and a few boxes of 3-1/2" 12 gauge.
Then I spotted the 3" 12 gauge... a handful of 5 round boxes of Federal 12 gauge turkey loads. For $54.
They had a dozen 25 round boxes of shot, but they were $25ish.

$54 for 5 rounds of over-hyped turkey shot! I was furious with Dunham's... until I looked on Federal's website and saw that MSRP is $81

I have a suggestion regarding what Federal may kiss.

I thank you for the information. But I believe it’s the new dictator in the oval room, not office because he’s not my prez. making everything that is going on. Wants to take your guns but they are taking the ammo since Obama. Only one way to stop it from what I see.

In addition to a few shotgun shells, do they still have that lone box of 220 Swift sitting on the shelf that's been there for the last two months? Makes me wonder if any of the ammo delivered to the store is actually making it out to the shelves.

Our local one sells the stuff completely out within an hour of the truck arriving. Folks stand around waiting while they unload.

Ours did have 223/69 match and 308/168(?) match in on Friday, a day after the truck. $2/round. No worse than online.

If you read up on what happened just a few years back you will find that Federal did the same thing during the last shortage. They even cancelled standing orders and forced renegotiation on new pricing for just about everyone. They of course release those heartfelt videos telling you they care, right before increasing wholesale prices 200-400%.
