    Cerakote services

    Hey all,

A co-worker of mine lives in Royal Oak and is looking to have a long gun cerakoted, any recommendations for that area? TIA.

Ever since I closed my Cerakote business I have been sending people to Doug at Cerakotespecialties. He is close to me in Fenton and does excellent work.

I'm looking to get my Savage Axis cerakoted, but cerakoting requires breaking everything down to the component level.

Can Savage's threaded barrels (with barrel nut) be cerakoted intact without disassembly?

I saw his work at Pointe trap, he used to rent half the store, he seemed nice enough when I talked to him a number of times, but heard he is hard to deal with you can look on here, I think he yelled at people, maybe threatened to sue, something like that. Maybe 99 percent of the stuff is great and its rarely an issue, but if there is a issue, maybe have no low expectations about getting it resolved.

Well, I think he found what was wanted back in March.
That link you provided just leads right back to this thread.
