    Glock Mags

Not wanting to side track my thread on CZ Scorpion Mags I though I'd throw this thought out. Wouldn't it bee nice if Glock mags would work in more guns? They're cheap, great quality, work the way their supposed too, and can be had every where. Ruger was smart to design their 9mm carbine to use Glock Mags seems like others would too?

You're right. Several of the 9mm AR lowers available do work with Glock mags, either directly or using a magwell adapter. I haven't kept up on interchangeably with more models of firearms.

And that is precisely the reason that I purchased one.

There are several handguns now that use Glock mags as well. All of the new Lonewolf and P80 handguns are running Glock mags.

Using Glock mags would simply reduce their own revenue stream. They like proprietary!

The Brigade AR9 I picked up last fall uses Glock mags (part of the reason I chose it). My Dead Air Wolfman suppressor just got out of jail yesterday (yeah!), so I can't wait to get that installed and put my Glock mags to use!

I guess if I was building handguns I'd come up with the very best Magazine I could and if I could get some one else to do the work that works too.

    From a *CONSUMER'S* perspective... ABSOLUTELY.

From a manufacturer's perspective there is likely more margin (profit) on a magazine than a pistol.
