    Glock Factory Refurbished Thoughts

I am picking up another Glock tomorrow and they have an American, Austrian, and Factory Refurbished in stock. The American model is $10 more than the Austrian, and the Factory Refurbished is the least expensive at $50 less than the American. Any reason not to go with the Refurbished one with the same warranty and save a few bucks? I have always bought new but hey, savings is savings if there is nothing to be gained by purchasing a new one. Thoughts?

New = mass production, spot inspection

Refurb = single unit focused inspection

    Warranty is the same

I have no problems with refurbs!

I'd take the refurb over the other two for the price savings.

If I get to look at it in person out of the case in my hands sure go for the cheap one, you will be able to tell by looking at it. If its low to no wear, factory inspected or they put in new springs etc or test them, and there is barely any wear or no rust, I would roll the dice. Seems like almost no risk.

Looks like new with hardly any barrel wear. The refurbished one seemed to have smoother slide action too. I’m sold, refurb it is.

    I've got a 19 Factory Refurb.

No issues with it - other than it had the terrible trigger that Gen 4 had.

Refurb is the way I'd go too...
Too bad that option wasn't available when I purchased my Glocks.
I'll admit, they spend a lot of time in the safe while 1911's are being used in their place.
