If You're afraid to shoot a competition, this is for you

    Livingston Gun Club
    proudly presents

    PS101

    An introduction to practical shooting

    10:00-16:00 Saturday 03 April 2021

PS101 provides you with the information you need to get started in practical shooting, the fastest growing
    and most exciting shooting sport.
We begin with a class room presentation covering the fundamentals of practical shooting and the gear you
need to participate. You should bring something for taking notes. Lunch is around noon. We typically order
pizza or sandwiches but you can also BYO. The presentation continues after lunch and ends around two
followed by (weather permitting) a range exercise where students have the opportunity to shoot a course of
fire under the supervision of nationally certified range officers and instructors. We are usually done by four
but it can go longer if the class is large or we take a long lunch.
If you want to take part in the range exercise bring:
    • a handgun chambered for one of the common defensive calibers
    • ~50 rounds of ammunition (more if you want to go more than once)
    • enough magazines or speed loaders to shoot a twenty round course
    • eye and ear protection
If you have a competition or duty rig (belt, holster, magazine pouches) bring it. If you don't we will find a way
to accommodate the equipment you do have. We shoot outside so dress for the weather.
Attendance is open to anyone. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The class is hosted by Livingston Gun Club at 2440 Hunter Road in Brighton.
    $10 fee includes lunch.
    Seating is limited to 24.
Contact the instructors at lgccompetition@gmail.com to sign up or ask questions.

If you've ever been even remotely interested in having a really fun time shooting guns, you should do this. If you are bored shooting 1 shot every 3 seconds at a single target at an indoor range, come out for this!!!

Weather is supposed to be nice too.

    A Great Place to start.
They have been doing this for years.

A good place going back to the 1980's with Pin Shooting.
    Good Club lots of experience......

Multiple target engagement, moving targets and a chance to move and shoot from behind cover vs static paper targets from a bench, yes please.
I was hesitant to try a competition shoot, but my brother JimSig was persistent and finally talked me into it. I am so happy I listened to him, thanks again Brother.
