Woods & Water 35th Annual Outdoor Weekend is September 10, 11 & 12 2021 and MGO needs your help.
Even if you never staffed the booth before one of our veterans will train you.
The Woods and Water show is held at the Eastern Michigan State Fair

This is a much different event than Outdoorama -this is an Outdoor sports event that really is outdoors and covers a whole Fairground in area, it is a lot of fun for the whole family even if you don't work the show come on out and bring the family & friends!!

Note, this is a handgun carry as you like event for booth workers and attendee's alike, for booth workers feel free to bring a firearm or two to display.
Anybody that may have questions about volunteering for this event please just send me a pm.
I have listed the volunteer needs per shift, if you are new to MGO and want to see what it is all about and the shift roster is full or not, just let me know and we will find a place for you to spend some time at the booth, just so that you can check it out.
This event earns volunteers that are MGO members a shift credit, to be used for the Gun of the year drawing, membership renewal or gift membership.
For new volunteers, if you are not a MGO member, your first shift credit earns you a 1year MGO membership.
If you would like to volunteer for a shift or three post what shifts you would like to work or send me a PM.
Show times dates and times;
Friday- September 10, Show opens at 5pm, but the booth needs to be staffed by at least 3pm to get it ready to open the show.

Sunday-September 12, 2 shifts these just work out to be a little longer, hard to make 3 shifts for Sunday.

Question: Will we have the opportunity to get in there and set up on Thursday as in the past?

Set up will depend on trailer delivery and help availability. I know that I will be there early Friday to get things ready for the show.

Still looking for help. Earn a membership, get free admission to the event or earn a shift credit for the Gun of the Year. This year it is a Henry Golden Boy chambered in .357
