    Inherited 2 3006 but really cant use in lower MI

    After cleaning them Im not sure as too keeping them in Michigan you can onlu use in the UP. Was going to send out to relatives as gifts. Thoughts?

    They can be used throughout the state except during GUN DEER season in the lower half of the lower.

    Not to mention continued try's to get them legal there.

    You can use them in the upper half of the Lower Peninsula for Deer hunting. Check the regulations to see where the Zone 2 and Zone 3 boundary line is.

    You’re misinformed-Leader and Garandsrus gave good accurate advice. Additionally you can use them to punch paper as well as hunt. The old 30-06 can be loaded in a dizzying array of loads and bullets from cast lead and 110g light loads to save the shoulder to 200g+ for real power-it’s one of the most versatile calibers out there and can be a pure pleasure just to shoot not to mention it’s usefulness to hunt with.
