I have a Remington model 700 in .243, it's in very nice condition, not sure of when it was made but I think around 1980, just wondering what fair value would be on the rifle.

Right now it a sellers market....Remington went out of business they are getting ready to start production again by Ruger we will need to see what prices will be....and not only gun price have gone up because of the person elected for President there are millions of new gun owners....your best way to get a price to sell is go to GunBroker and look that will give you a high price .....your no going to get that price on MGO.....
More info needed, all Rem 700's in .243 aren't the same.
There is a barrel date code stamped on the left side of the barrel, just in front of the receiver.
What model, ADL, BDL, CDL, Classic, SP....etc.
What type of stock? Barrel length? Sights or scope included?
Most importantly...CONDITION, which is best shown with pictures.
