New Seller "Paul Morris" from Arizona on Guns Americais requesting to be paid by PayPal only!

They've listed a brand new Beretta 92fs for $300.00 and a brand new Gen 5 Glock 19 for $400.00.

So of course i clicked buy on both but as soon as the email requesting a "gift payment" through PayPal "razor card" i knew it was a scam

I notified GA and was informed it doesn't allow PayPal to be used.

Paypal doesn't allow transactions related to guns either I believe.

Seller ad says they accept credit cards but when I emailed them they sent PayPal link denoting this money is "a gift" doesn't mention anything about firearms. I notified GA and haven't received a reply as of yet.

Not saying the seller is legit (at that price, I doubt it), but people often request it be sent as a "gift" when using PayPal, as PayPal doesn't charge a fee if sent as a "gift" using a PayPal balance or an attached bank account (there is a fee if using a credit card).

And you also forfeit your "buyer's protection" from PayPal when paying via Friends & Family.

Sure, but if it's for business with someone you know/trust, it saves money.

Then again, I try to NEVER use PayPal, period.

The grammar in their email is terrible. Their phone listed in ad has only six digits and they refused to provide one. This morning when you click on sellers name no results come back.
