    New to the State

Hello, I'm new to Michigan and was thinking of putting a long gun up for sale. Was hoping to get some info on private party transfer laws here in Michigan. Previous state required you to meet up at an FFL and pay to transfer. Is it the same here? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Dave

No FFl needed, Person you're selling to has to be 18 or older and legal to own a firearm. If you want to do a bill of sale mention that in your ad,
Many people don't like add ons that aren't required by law.

Just to clarify a bit, long guns don't require any more than age of 18 and cash. Pistol sales have a few more rules.
Never, under any circumstances, consume a sleeping pill and laxative on the same night.

And that the purchaser be a resident of the State of Michigan. Other wise it would be an interstate transfer, and fall under Federal law.
