So, how many people have spent the $ to upgrade existing mags? If I were considering buying 15rd mags I can see this as a better (footprint) alternative, but since I'm not I can't see spending $70 to upgrade my two 12rd carry mags with +2 each. Thoughts?

Except for baseplates, I won't modify existing mags. If Sig could have stuffed two extra rounds in a 12 round mag and not sacrifice reliability they probably would have done so.
