I took this nice 8pt. yesterday (11/12/21) morning, had not seen him on camera since 9/29/21, or any nice buck since bow season started. I took a little 6pt. opening day to put in the freezer, been hunting since hoping the good ones I had on camera were not all already taken or moved out of the area. Glad to see this guy has just been busy elsewhere and decided to visit my mock scrape while I was out there. I guess I'll be sitting out the gun season for a good reason this year. Good luck to the rest of you guys!

Congratulations on your buck. That is the best reason I can think of to sit out firearm deer season.
