Scouting fresh snow for coyote snare sets

Any veteran yote snaring folks here??
What are your favorite scouting/setting practices??

I finally got 3 sets in this afternoon and spotted another fresh track on the way out, but was running out of light. There were two yotes running the same track, I set at 3 different locations along it about 150 yards apart first to last.
I'm excited to check them in the morning!
