SE MI Ranges for Prone Shooting

    Hey all,

I was wondering if you had suggestions for ranges that allow prone fire in SE MI.
    Hoping for 100-200+
Unfortunately I’m back and forth between SE and East Lansing due to school so don’t have the time to join a club. Definitely open to clubs that allow the public to pay for use though.

    Thanks!

You can do that at the DNR Ortonville shooting range. $4 a day to shoot.

    What type of prone shooting?

If you wish to participate in CMP / NRA sling / F class type matches then there is abundant opportunity in Michigan through-out the year. 2022 calendar link below.

I’m just trying to compare groups on a few ARs. Shot from benches but groups are a bit worse than I’d like, probably since I’m not familiar with the ins and outs of bench shooting. Also a bit hard to load a bipod off a bench without a stop. I’d appreciate tips for bench shooting too!

Never, under any circumstances, consume a sleeping pill and laxative on the same night.

WSC is a private club and the 600 yard range is only accessible during sanctioned club events / matches. This includes 600 yard Wednesday practice that will begin again in a few months.

Blue water is nice depending on what your definition of “southeastern mi” is.

Non members are not allowed to use the 300 yd. range. To use the 100yd. range you would have to be the guest of a member.
