bead blasting in the livonia area?

finishing up a 1911 build/rebuild.. and need to finish the frame. Has/had a bunch of tooling marks and scratches from the get go.

still need to remove the big ones, but looking to have the final frame bead blasted. It is stainless, and dont want a polished or mirror
    finish.

Anyone know of a good/reputable place to get the bead blasting done?

Doug Jones bead blasted my stainless 1911. He is in Rochester Hills though. He is the most reasonable gunsmith in the state.

I bead blasted several of my guns in a $50 Beijing Harbor bench top cabinet with a Craftsman pancake compressor, and a pail of glass beads from the local auto store.
They turned out so nice that several people paid me to do their guns.
    VERY easy DiY project.
I gave the blast cabinet to my nephew; he's using it in his knife making business, or I'd offer it up.

Total novice here, but IF you have a compressor, you can get it done yourself for like under $50.

I bought a cheap harbor freight media blaster/hopper and a 30-40lb bag of coal slag Medium blasting media from TSC for like under $40. I've already done two carbon steel 1911s (1 parkerised and 1 nitrate blued) and was very happy with the results before applying a finish. Don't own any stainless guns, but I'd imagine it would produce a nice matte finish with the Med-grade media and 40-50psi
