    leather/kydex holster makers?

I have embarked on a project that keeps taking me down a rabbit hole of money.. lol.

I have a custom 7" 1911 in 10mm, and want to get a holster for it. And I am a lefty. ( not in a AOC way..)

I have a "cheap" nylon holster for 5" 1911, and it fits, but sticks out too far for my tastes.

    Any suggestions? Comments? snide remarks???

    Indeed! Hence my inquiry!

So, started fussing around the parts room.. turns out, a leather holster for a 1858 remington is pretty dang close. Not quite the
style I was looking for... but its starting to grow on me.. lol

Indeed. But the 7" barrel tends to make every 1911 holter a yaqui holster!
