Looking back I’m surprised at the lack of training I received when I worked at an FFL. Granted, the interview was very technical heavy, with such things as average grain and velocities for various cartridges and what would be appropriate for deer/ squirrel/ self defense/ etc for given loads and ranges. I would venture to assume if I knew what Barnes bullet would be good for elk at 300 yards, they could assume I already had a good handle on firearms already. I also didn’t apply to work at the counter either, I applied to work elsewhere in the company. When they heard how I was answering questions and realized I had a solid understanding of shooting they pushed me into that direction.

To what end or purpose? What is a 21yo going to do better than an equally trained 18yo?

Are you also going to strip them of a right to vote? Will you exclude them from Selective service registration?

They are adults, acknowledge that and treat them such!
