Tanfoglio 10mm. Talk me into or out of it.

My local FFL offered me a Springfield XDM(?) In 10mm and after thinking about it, if I buy another full size 10mm it's going to be all metal.
So I would also pay the pretty penny for a CZ 10mm, the one that never happened.
So along into my perception comes the Tanfoglio line. Previouly declined to consider these because of a lack of magazine availability. But that seems to be alleviated at the imports website when you have a serial number.

So like I said. Talk me into it or out of it... yes I know at this point I would be paying suggested retail.

I have a Tanfoglio polymer frame in 9mm, I love it. Only major downside is holster availability.

My Tanfoglio 10 is a real sweetheart to shoot. Zero downsides to it.
Big, heavy, all steel, with that CZ feel.

As far as a shooter, I like it more than my M&P and USP. But plastic is a whole lot lighter to carry, and I have too much into my USP conversion to not like it.

I have noticed that. Hopefully If needed I can find something I like...
I do like shoulder rigs for all steel full size guns....

I love mine. Buy a heavier recoil spring for it. Which model?

Definitely a big heavy gun. I have a witness match elite in 38 super with a 10mm slide and barrel kit. She is a fun shooter. 18 plus 1 with the 38 super. Weighs like 3 lbs fully loaded.

I think CZ is backing the Dan Wesson 1911 guns .

    @Jackstan...
    My thought too.

Bought one over the weekend. Went for all the functional points I wanted: all steel, DA/SA, near 5 inch barrel. Exact looks came in 2nd.
    Limited Pro.
Would have liked to get the full length dust cover look but those pistols are populated with DA only, SA only, 6 inch barrels, and single sided safeties,

Fobus has a full line of holsters for the italians, and the EAA stamped Tanf's. I'm sure there are others out there.

EAAcorp in FL also has just about any Tanfoglio mag you're looking for.
