Armslist membership?

Haven't been buying and selling much in the last couple years. Looks like armslist is membership only now. Anybody have a membership? I can see getting a membership if I was planning on selling some stuff. I found something I'm interested in, and I can't contact the seller in my area. Also wondering if there's some other sites now that are similar to Armslist and don't require a membership. Looking for some alternative options for shopping used other than Michigan gun owners.

I don't like the way Armslists operates. Charging the buyer to look or ask questions. But for a few dollars a month it does keep spammers away. I paid the dues about 8 months ago and have done several transactions both buying and selling. I sold enough free range brass to pay for a year so that works for me. Not much else for local deals except MGO. And yes you can search MI on Gunbroker also.

It looks to me like there's fewer things listed in my area. Are you finding what you want for a reasonable price and are you getting a good number of local buyers?

I have had several good transactions in the past several months on Armslist. Both buying and selling. No complaints for 7 bucks a month. But its not right the charge a potential buyer.
