    So, thinking about replacement, what alloy would be most tolerant of 3000 fps impacts? Name brand 500 or 550?

    Flip and use for 50+ yard shooting, or use frangible bullets at closer range.

    I prefer AR500 for targets as I have found them to be less prone to cracking over time, but I am also moving to some of the self healing rubber targets as there is zero chance of them throwing anything back at you, regardless of the round you hit it with.
