Talk to me about the m/62s

Just as the title says.
Any pros or cons on owning a valmet m/62 7.62 ?
I might have a chance On picking one up I just have heard they are worth a pretty penny?

No cons other than cost and being way over-gassed [typical for most AK variants]
My M76 tube folder in 5.56 would do case head separations with brass. Steel was ok.
M62's were $3k+ 20yrs ago when I had my M76 which I got for 1.2k$.

🤩 beautiful rifle !! Just like that one just different hand guards, I don’t think it comes with gnome magazines or the bayonet either. Thank you for the info ! So now there worth a pretty good penny ?

You won't need special mags, any milspec ak mags should be fine.
Bayonet, good luck, that was bought in euros from some guy in Sweden in like '01 IIRC

I had a chance a couple years ago to buy it off him and it came with 75 round drum I talk to my buddy on his birthday about it.I might be able to get it from him. What are they going for now it’s a non-tube folder but it’s in pretty good shape I’ll try to get some pictures soon thank you so much for all the info I haven’t seen many for sale the couple I seen that sold pretty high
