I have to ask - how were you "rewarded" for this minor indiscretion?

Fortunately I was a Lance Corporal at the time (E-3) at Sea School in San Diego so all they really did was yell a lot, give me extra guard duty at night and worse of all, threaten to assign me to a sub tender when I graduated.

But lesson learned.
