Soaked it in Krill oil for two days. Will not budge either direction. Any suggestions?

Try freezing the barrel over night

Then hold a soldering iron, or similar, to the thread protector... it will warm faster than the barrel, helping to break the mechanical lock.

No-mar plumbing pliers may be useful too... can grab them at any big-box hardware.

    Agreed with the advice given.
I have had pretty good success freezing then heating C&B revolver cylinders to remove stuck nipples that are notorious for being hard to get out if the previous owner did not use never seize.
I usually try Kroil first, (I'm assuming that what you meant)

Tx yes I meant Kroil. Would a mini torch work as well as a soldering iron

All great advice you've been given.

I would not put the hot wrench to it. Use a heat gun if you have one. You don't want to expand the threading as well as the protector, just the protector. We're talking micro contraction and expansion here.

Or if you don't have anything like that...
Try a cup of water in the micro till it's HOT, dip just the thread protector in it for a couple seconds when it beeps. Grab a rag and gorilla fist it off - in the correct direction.
You can try hitting it squarely on the end with a hard rubber mallet too - percussive force can help it get started, that's the hardest part.
If none of that works, time for the vice and channel locks. I use an old belt or leather glove on stuff I don't want the pliers biting into.

Really glad to hear the update and glad it worked.
Might want to put never sieze on it if you're putting it back on.
