I inherited an Oakwood Crossbow model A2GP and can't find any info about it. Hoping someone can help or steer me in a good direction

    Is it a vertical crossbow?

A pic would help. But I think I know what you're talking about. Waiting for a response to a text I sent - if it's a bow he'll know of it.

    Response was:

"Oakwood was marketed as a vertical recurve crossbow from the UK made by SamWha Archery in the late 80s early 90s. It had a pivoting prod or rotating buttstock allowing vertical or horizontal usage without tools. It was constructed of alloy and had a side mounted cocking lever. The A2-GP had a 200 lb draw. Was even in an early 90's Star-Trek episode. Value unknown. Not likely worth anything to anyone but a crazy trekkee fan. Those things were dangerous unreliable inaccurate and more of a short run gimmick to get around UK weapons laws at the time. Mostly bought and used in UK Austrailia and New Zealand. I've only seen one in a picture Fred just sent to me."

No idea how to attach a picture he sent in the text reply.

Sound like a wall hanger, unless a huge Star Trek fan wants is for his collection.
