Thread: Buddy debate

    Buddy debate

A buddy of mine and I are comparing our setups for EDC and I need help settling the score-

My setup is a Springfield XD with tier1 tactical holster and a kore nylon belt with x5 buckle.

My buddy has a Glock 19 in a tier1 axis elite holster with TLR7. He wears a Crossbreed executive Leather belt.

I feel like we are a wash on the holster but the rest is the debate part.

I stopped reading after Springfield XD. Your buddy wins.

    LOL

To compare we need important information, does the XD have a "grip zone"?

    This.

The XD is a garbage gun so he wins by default.

Are you intentionally trying to the Glock fanboy population?

    The real question is:
Which one of you prefers a small batch craft microbrew with a bouquet of citrus-y hops and aromatic notes of caramel and sweet tobacco over a PBR?
    [if both were free]

I can't really believe or see why an overpriced belt would figure into the "what is better?" comparison.

    You have the 'Grip Zone'!!!!
Your buddy wins. And gets a Mortal Combat Fatality, too.

Springfield XD and Glock are both losers in my book.
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

I think the OP has opened a huge can of worms, and the toothpaste won't go back into the tube, so on and so forth.

In my opinion, both lose as neither one is carrying a SIG.

The real answer OP, is if either you or your buddy is comfortable with (or comforted by) your personal carry gear? What's right for you won't necessarily be right for someone else.
