    Meridan 38

    Have an Meridan 38, know its a five shot made for Sears, Its in great condition, has original blue faded finish with no rust and probably all original..Asides from value since its a CC does it need to be registered?
    The barrel is 5 inches

    It's Meriden, they were sold in the Sears catalog till 1918 when they stopped making revolvers.

    Your is .38 S&W caliber, many were Nickle plated. What is the barrel length on yours?

    If you find .38 S&W ammo, have it checked by a competent gunsmith, before firing.

    By CC, do you mean "concealed carry"? All Michigan handguns are supposed to be registered.

    I have one and it is notorious for firing out if time andshaving a bullet. 38 s&w is silly expensive and hard as hens teeth to find. Fun round but these old guns were known for timing issues.
