    Ordering from a retailer?

Hello everyone. Looking to purchase my first rifle and I don’t want to sound like a complete idiot in the gun shop. I want to get the Henry All Weather 357/38 lever gun. It is out of stock everywhere. Can a retailer order it for me or am I stuck looking at used guns? Any places you’d recommend in Oakland County?

Any dealer that normally sells Henry products should be able to order one.
Of course there may not be any available until Henry has their next production run of them.
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Looking online I can only find 44 mag 45 LC and 45-70 in stock.

As a former Henry dealer, yes you can order one, but it can take over a year for the order to be filled (certain guns took 24-30 months to get), But I aven't been a dealer for over 5 years, so I'm sure supply chain and everything is much better now

might try google-ing "Online Firearm retailers".. then check out websites to see if you can find what you want.
If you can find an online retailer with what you want, buy it & have it shipped to an FFL dealer in your area that
will do a transfer for you.. better chance doing this than finding a local retailer that has what you want in stock..

added:just check out the retailer that say they have inventory, to make sure it's not a scam..

JGrant, Do you remember where you saw the 44? That’s the other caliber I was looking at.

Yes, most gun stores would order. Some don't and I'm not sure why.

Now, a lot of brands have a large backorder or aren't currently in production so long waits can and do happen lately.
