Washtenaw has a 600 yard range that you have to be a member of the club and then you have to qualify for the 600 yard access.

Howell Gun Club has a 300 yard range that you need to qualify for. The Howell Gun Club is currently working on a 600 yard range that should be ready in spring if not sooner.

Not to be obtuse but shooting 17HMr at 200 yards is like shooting 308 at 600 yards..

    Pretty close.
Why not consider NLR shooting? It’s done with 22lr at ranges of 100yds up to 200 yds on steel 1/4” - 6” and is getting quite popular. The need for a longer range is gone making easier for local clubs to host shoots.
I have not shot competitions, but have some experience with steels in 4”, 6” & 8” at 200 meters and can say it is a challenge. Drop and wind are humbling

A good dope book will fix most of that, the rest is up to you.

The price for Young’s would be a no brainer if I lived closer. That is a great deal. Midland is also a great price.

Just showing a recent target. 200 yds, 6.5CM AR10 cheap PSA upper for you long range seekers.
140gr what ever over something H4350.
Couple weird fliers and then it settled right down. These are my old 2015 RPR bolt gun loads.
A bit overlong for a semi but they fed ok. working up a new batch now.

Some of you lads have some bad sticks. Anybody wanna come and do better?

6.5 CM is an odd ammo to me..

I’ve shot a few but oddly I shoot better with the Grendel

Bring your Grendel brother, I have two. My 12.5 is hateful but my heavy 16 is wonderful.

MTC is what you're looking for.
From Warren, you're roughly 3 hours door to door. I've been making the commute for several years now from S.E. MI. Drag the trailer up, pitch a tent, stay in one of the cabins, or make it a day trip.
Two (2) 1000+ yard ranges, pistol bays, shoot house, moving vehicle, 300yd rimfire UKD range. Coupled with some of the best training in the Midwest. It's well worth the price/drive.
The only thing it doesn't have is all the Tactitard Tommy's and the Online Operators.

6.5 Competition Match or did you mean 6.5 Creedmoor?
