Darco barrel length , Not as advertised

In an attempt to get infront of the pistol brace issue upcoming. I checked multiple sources on Draco barrel length. Not the micro. The standard version. Supposed to be 12.5. So, I found a nice comp to put on the barrel and it would make it legal if things went south. Well, It arrived and I installed it to check it out. Then, I measured it. An inch short.... It is a 4 inch comp... If my math is correct. 12.5 plus 4. Is over 16 inches... It is actually 11.5. I am a bit ticked off. I am sure I am not the only one thinking about this as an option. So, laziness on my part by not actually checking the gun. Cost me. Not a happy camper today...

Did you measure it to the correct spot? Try placing a dowel down the muzzle and marking the dowel, then measure.

My thoughts as well, where in the chamber are you measuring to.

Yep, I went to the breach face. Measured several times. Looked up different sources and they all say 12.5. I figured I would put it out there if someone was planning the same thing.

Anyone has some torches and a come along, maybe a barrel stretcher

I've measured mine a few times, it comes in at 11.75"

Thanks, nice to see I don't have a broken tape measure. At least that extension isn't too bad price wise. Should do the trick. My guess is there will be a run on people trying to off their pistol's before any rule comes into affect. Maybe a good time for cheap AK's then.
