Can I as a Michigan resident ship a rifle to an FFL in New Hampshire?
Can I as a Michigan resident ship a rifle to an FFL in New Hampshire?
Yes, if they will accept it. Not all FFL's will accept shipments from a private individual.
From the latest I heard. It needs to be FFL to FFL.
If you support the perversion of America. Then, you are the problem.
I'm Your Huckleberry
I had to get special accounts to ship guns can't take firearms or parts to ship counters anymore
Shipmygun.com
1000% bad info.
Doesn't work from a private, non-FFL holding, individual. UPS counter will turn you away - which is where you take your shipmygun labeled box to...UPS.
shipmygun FAQ
Firearms, including handguns, may ONLY BE SHIPPED through a Ups Customer Center (counters at Ups operational facilities).
already covered in https://www.migunowners.org/forum/sh...shipping-alert
From UPS:
"3.7.1 Firearms
Packages containing firearms (as defined by Title 18, Chapter 44, and Title 26, Chapter 53 of the United States Code)
and firearm parts that do not constitute firearms as defined by federal law (together, “Firearm Products”) are accepted
for transportation only as a contractual service and only from Shippers who are licensed importers, licensed manufacturers,
licensed dealers, or licensed collectors (as defined in Title 18, Chapter 44 of the United States Code).
I shipped a rifle via USPS to Fulton Armory for repair... so if a long arm, USPS will still work personal to FFL. They did ask for copy of the FFL though
Yep. If you can get them to take it.
I've had easy 5 minutes transactions
AND
20 minutes of talking with the supervisor (even showing them their own rules in black and white) and ended up leaving with the package in hand.
Current rules in USPS Pub 52 Sec 432.3(d)
d. Rifles and shotguns may be mailed by a non-FFL owner domestically to a FFL dealer, manufacturer, or importer in any state. These items must be mailed using a class of mail, product, or Extra Service that provides tracking and signature capture at delivery.
I may have asked this before and forgotten, so tolerate me -
Will manufacturers still mail a label for free shipment to them for warranty repair and then ship the repaired firearm back @ no charge to the owner which owner does not have an FFL?
thanks
