    Spotting scope finish

How can I restore a spotting scope's finish to its original smooth rubber condition after it has developed a tacky and sticky surface?

I would call the company and see if they warrant it…

It's the chinesum spray on rubber finish that's applied to all cheap chinese products. My spotting scope is the same way along with some other items. Only thing I've found to fix it is the tedious task of manually removing it or just live with it.
