    I Love 1911s

    No question if I were to spend 1500 a DW would be on the short list
    For production 1911 this as good as you get IMHO

    Yeah, for that cheddar you're deep into the Springfield Armory Operator and Loaded realm.
    While no fan of SA as a company, I've owned a couple of their 1911s and have 0 complaints. The SACs Pro Railed I have is absolutely flawless (granted, it's a custom series so double the price).
    This is one of those 'I'll let others try it out first' ones.
