Any thoughts on how to interpret this.
If I understand this correctly - pretty much anything with less than a 16" bbl, even with just a naked buffer tube, will be classified as an SBR now.
Wish I could buy stock in Palmetto State Armory, they are going to be selling a ton of uppers now.
Lawsuits will be flying from FRAC, GOA and FPC within a week or two. It could dismantle the NFA entirely.

One of the main reasons the NFA was passed was that the weapons it regulated were not considered common use. Braced firearms or now "SBRs" are extremely common and so are silencers. So now that the ATF considers common use items as part of the NFA, it's a strong argument point for the NFA to go bye-bye.
