DSC annual ground hog day shoot Sunday, Jan 29

21st annual groundhog day shoot will be Sunday, January 29th at the DSC outdoor 200yd rifle range:
- 9am - 1pm OPEN to the PUBLIC as well as members
- separate youth and adult events
--- youth (.22LR only): 50 yds shooting at 6 hanging 16 oz pop/water bottles
--- adults (any rifle, off-hand, no sling)): 200 yds shooting at 6 hanging 2 liter pop bottles (kids can shoot the adult course with direct supervision)
- fees: $10 adult / $5 juniors
- prizes for either lowest round count, or fastest time (to hit all 6) - in both youth and adult divsions

MUST BRING 6 - 16 OZ WATER OR (DIET ONLY) POP BOTTLES (FOR YOUTH EVENT)
MUST BRING 6 2-LITER POP (DIET ONLY) BOTTLES FOR ADULT EVENT
DIET POP ONLY (greatly eases clean up)

The club is on Dequindre road, just south of 23 mile rd (Avon Rd in Oakland county). Note that the intersection of Dequindre and 23/Avon is under construction, so you would need to come up dequindre from the south.
