Looking for a gunsmith that can thread a lever gun.

Yes I know sacrilege but I'm looking for a talented gunsmith that could turn down and thread lever guns. I have a octagon barrel Marlin that I want threaded(JM marked to )
Looking for south east Michigan area but willing to travel if you have recommendations.

Has anyone had this done? Curious on cost.

    Thanks

You can ship your rifle to them.
They'll do the work and ship your rifle back to you.

Class 3 Machining does good work, is very affordable, and Morgan is a good guy.
He's done some excellent work for me in recent past.

Check out his FB page to see examples of his work. He can quote you a price via Messenger, though I think his FAQ page covers that too.

There is a quality smith in Western CO who does threading on oddball barrels and stuff like yours, levers included-he did my 336 XLR

Sorry, strike that-I see on their site it’s noted that they have suspended rifle barrel work for the time being.
