    If your sight is a little shorter than you want, you could cut a very small shim & put it beneath the sight, raising it a bit.
    My gunsmith fixed a loose rear sight in one of my 1911's in the same manner. Cut a piece about 1/8" wide, & maybe 3/16" long.
    The shim was cut from a piece of feeler gauge. You could try different thickness of stock to get the sight raised to the height you want.
