I was there as well. It was an awesome time. I was getting ready to leave when the brilliant decision to touch off the pyro device was made. I just cannot understand why some people cant be happy to just go and shoot & have a good time. Why they feel they have to blow crap up (which only serves to infuriate the neighbors further) is beyond me.

Mike1979, were you the guy that borrowed a set of safety glasses from me? I was the guy with the white pickup and blue canopy.

I got to shoot a B.A.R.. I had never fired one of those before. Now......if I can just find someone to let me run a minigun................

Wish the MGO guys would have made themselves known... alot of the AR15.com guys did... introduced themselves as their screen name a couple times. But I don't hang out on AR15.com that much at all so it was little lost on me.

I've seen pictures of the "road" to get down there and it appears you have to have a pickup truck...

Is that the only road (the one thats beat all to hell with huge ruts)?

As long as you come in from the south you are fine.

We tried leaving to the north and had to turn around, and we were in a full size pick-up. Come in from the south and its no different than pavement.
