Could be? Has to match your other documents though, so a DL that lists you as Male (or female) and a check for they/them on the 4473 should be cancelled at the sales counter.

"Gender dysphoria" is a mental illness defined in the DSM. I would think checking the "other" box is an instant disqualification. And in light of all those wonderful posts about a "day of vengeance" I would say any FFL has ample reason to deny the sale.

That's been on the BATFE Form 5300.9 (aka the 4473) since May of 2020. Where have you been?
