    Tax stamp question

Hello everyone. I recently won a suppressor from a fundraiser raffle. It’s been over 2 months and the FFL is saying he is waiting on my paper work. I verified with silencer shop kiosk and did my finger prints. Yet the FFL is saying he will take care of the rest. Tell me if I’m wrong but don’t I have to verify with him before it’s electronically sent in. Also wouldn’t it show up in my ATF profile page.

It’s my first stamp and suppressor. I never been through the process but I keep reading people are getting approved under 18 days on average.

    Any input is much appreciated

Was it submitted through SilencerShop using ATF eForms or using SilencerShop where they mail in the paperwork the old way?

eForms you need to log in at the same time he's on the SilencerShop portal to certify the paperwork and submit. If it's the old school SilencerShop way, as long as you have your photo, fingerprints, and application selection (individual, trust) complete, then it's just a waiting game and nothing will show on eForms if it was submitted by mail.

I assume not through the silencer shop e forms if the FFL submits it do I need to sign anything? My concern is I’m getting the run around and the FFL doesn’t even have the can that was raffled off.

The average doesn't mean anything, my last suppressor I got last year took 5 months to clear.

Have you gone to the SilencerShop website and to your account? If not do the following:
    Go to SilencerShop website
Click on the person icon in the upper right
    Login to your Account
Click on the person icon again
You should now have a list of choices in the upper part of the screen (I took a screenshot and pasted it below). 'Dashboard' is what you want. Click on that and tell me what it says.
Next, click on 'Orders' and tell me what it says.

can't get a stamp without a serial #. Do you have the suppressor in question at the FFL?

Might be time to contact the people that put on the raffle. I assume they picked the ffl to be used and maybe if they prodded him he might get moving better.
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

That’s my assumption that the FFL didn’t actually have the can in hand and it’s out of stock everywhere. I’m going to order another through a diffrent FFL and if I get it before that one I’m gonna start calling them out. Hopefully it comes before that.

I just applied through Silencer Shop monday.Yes you would have to either be at FFL on on phone to give them your Eforms log in info. I did mine with their trust. This is what I see on Silencer Shop site.
