Thanks for the kind offer JimSig, I don't feel @ this point replacing the trigger is needed. If you've read my earlier posts, it should be no surprise that I'm a fan of the 1911 format & am quite familiar with it's workings.
My familiarity with 1911's began in the early 80's & I've owned a few since then.
Is this your first 1911 DOUBLE STACK.. if so it could be the grip dimensions are throwing you off compared to you being used to single stacks 1911s.. Another guess on my side as i do not know what you have.

Not my 1st Dbl. Stack 1911, I've had a Para P-14 45 for years..don't shoot it much, but took it to the range a week ago, as it's been some time
since I fed it. Was impressed with how well it shot, tight groups in & around my "target box"
It has a green fiber optic front sight, realized I like the green sight better than the red ones I have on other pistols.
The Para is a full size (5" barrel) 45 & the Tisas is a Cmdr. size 9... grip frame is similar size on both.

I hear ya.. just trying to diagnose what is going on here with the tisas.. by the way I have a tisas commander in 45 ACP.. it is a nice accurate gun. Let me see if I can link a video of me shooting it
